07:00 a.m. I came to the CEU-Makati Campus as the assembly for the Community Outreach was done. My sister rang my cellphone, so abruptly came to the meeting place wearing the yellow shirt exclusively designed by my students (BSBAMM3B-I'm getting a lot of good feedbacks kudos (",) ). Then I took a quick breakfast from ministop with my sister, it was a tuna kariman and a nestle lof-fat milk (lol, conscious ba?!) Then we took a 1-hour shuttle trip to the venue and we have met numerous kids along the way as we enter their vicinity but we just headed to one specific area where young girls were waiting for us. Upon our entry to their functional hall, I got to know Melissa- she wanted to be called Iwa Moto. She said she was 6 and she has a petite sister with her who was in cute yellow. They both seemed adorable, probably because they were both discreet and shy. Anyway, the event was trully different - I cannot explain whether I should feel better just because of knowing their backgrounds or should I also feel challenged that we need to have more places such as this. I don't wanna blame anybody for any misfortunes they have experienced, I'm also just as grateful as they are that there are still some people who cares for them.
Have you ever felt that you could have done something more? Perhaps, will be doing somethng more for them?
I have my dreams and I just feel that it also somehow nice to include people like them in our dreams as well. So Melissa, take care and we'll surely be back for more fun.
